1. LEGAL INFORMATION 

1.1. OBJECTIVE

Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use and disclose the personal information and non-personal information we collect about you when you use or access any of our websites (online or mobile).

Please note that we collect only the data we need to fulfill our mission. For the purposes of representation and consultation, Furin Fine Art must be aware of all individuals and legal entities involved in the arts and culture sector in Canada.

 The data we collect when the user performs certain functions on our site may be used anonymously for the following purposes:

  1. Reporting to donors 

  2. Production of statistics for internal use only.

 We will not collect any additional data without informing you first. Personal data collected on our sites will only be used for the purposes specified in this policy or indicated on the relevant pages of our sites; we do not use your data for any other purpose.

2.3. SHARING OF PERSONAL DATA

Employees

We may disclose to any Furin Fine Art employee such user data as is reasonably necessary to carry out the our mission and the purposes set out in this policy.

We may share user data with the following third parties, when a confidentiality agreement is signed and when we have the user's consent:  

  1. Cities, municipalities and regional county municipalities (RCMs) 

  2. Organizations 

  3. Businesses.

 We may share user data with third parties for the purpose of targeting possible advertising campaigns or analyzing user behavior or attributes. This data is collected via a pixel configured on Meta platforms or via the Google Analytics 4 tool configured on our websites and is anonymized before being shared with our partners running our advertising campaigns.

Third parties will not be able to access user data beyond what is reasonably necessary to achieve the given business purpose.

 Other disclosures 

We undertake not to sell or share your data with other third parties, except in the following cases:

  1. If required by law

  2. If required for any legal proceedings

  3. To establish or protect our legal rights.

All private data stored in our system is secure and accessible only to our employees. Our employees are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and a breach of this agreement would result in the employee's dismissal.  

While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there is always a risk of harm. Considering the many risks associated with Web and Internet technologies, we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.
